Care at Hospice
At times you may need round the clock care that can be provided on the In Patient Unit.
Date of Event: 26 Mar 2023
The Hospice to Hospice Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 26th March 2023 starting at 8:30am from the Hospice Fundraising shop in the Parish of St Ouen finishing in the car park of Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon in St Helier.
The route initially takes runners out west of the island, towards Grosnez before heading back through St Ouen passing the start line on Rue De La Croix at 6.5 miles (and the relay hand over point). The route continues through St Mary and St John before turning onto Rue du Bel Vent where runners will begin their descent to the finish line in the beautiful grounds of Jersey Hospice Care.
This race has been descibed as ideal for first time half marathon runners, it is relatively flat with a short 1/2 mile incline at approx. mile 11 with a final push up the drive into the car park!
The race is timed using Webscorer timing app and results will be published within 12 hours.
Entries are available for people over 17 years old and includes options for a two person and four person relay team.
The registration fee is £27.50 for individuals, £45.00 for a 2 person relay team or £68 for a 4 person relay team (tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable). Online sales close on Saturday 25th March 2023 at 4pm.
Late registrations will be available at 7:45 am on the morning of the race, closing at 8:15am. Individual runners £35 and 2 person relay teams £55. We regret there will be no late registrations for 4 person relay teams.
EY’s commitment to building a better working world isn’t limited to the office or the boardroom, supporting and giving back to our local community is always at the forefront of our actions. The Jersey Hospice Care is a charity at the heart of our local community, supporting many islanders with life limiting illnesses and providing much needed support for their loved ones.
We are proud to be the new sponsors of the Hospice 2 Hospice half marathon and play a part in supporting the Hospice with growing this event, which is such a crucial part of their fundraising calendar. As we are passionate about promoting the benefits and importance of physical activity within our office and local community, we are delighted to do this, whilst also supporting a charity which helps so many people across the island.
