Volunteering

We are extremely lucky to have almost 400 volunteers who are willing to give their time to us and help support the patients in our care.

There are lots of ways to get involved and no mater the role, you are making a difference to our patients and their families.

Some people wish to support the charity as a way of giving back, young people might want experience, and retired people have an enormous range of skills to offer.

The list is endless and there is a place for everyone. We work hard to match individual’s skills and interests with a suitable voluntary role that they will enjoy.

We are so grateful for the support we already receive and are always ready to welcome new faces. There is a wide range of volunteering opportunities within Jersey Hospice Care, including on the In Patient Unit at Mont Cochon, in our fundraising shops, at fundraising events, or in our gardens.

Community Choir

The Community Choir was formed to bring members of the community together - irrespective of age or gender - to have fun, make new friends, and bring joy to the community through the power of song.   With songs from the 50’s right up to modern day and no auditions required, there is something for everyone.

Rehearsals are on alternative Tuesdays in the King Centre at Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon. Light refreshments are offered at 17:30 and singing starts at 18:00 and finishes at 19:00.
