We provide round the clock care on our In Patient Unit, where you can be looked after in a home away from home environment.
The Compassionate Neighbours scheme provides support to members of our community who have a life-limiting condition who may be experiencing loneliness or social isolation. The scheme looks to build supportive connections and genuine friendships by ‘matching’ people together based on common interests, lifestyles, and experiences.

The Compassionate Neighbours project also offers group sessions, bringing Community Members together in a safe and caring environment at Jersey Hospice Care.
Can you spare an hour a week to make a real difference in someone's life?
You don't need any specific skills, qualifications, or experiences – just yourself and a positive attitude! Volunteer's must be at least 18 years of age.
Our flexible training programme will not only provide you with the skills and knowledge to help you carry out the role with confidence, but you will also get to meet other likeminded Compassionate Neighbours.
People living with a life-limiting condition can often struggle with loneliness and sometimes need extra support. Compassionate Neighbours can really make a difference. If you or someone you know are experiencing loneliness or social isolation and would benefit from a Compassionate Neighbour, you can refer to us. However, if you are referring on behalf of someone, please do this with their permission.
All support is provided free of charge.
