We provide round the clock care on our In Patient Unit, where you can be looked after in a home away from home environment.

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for a Deputy Shop Manager (East) to join our Retail Department on a permanent, full-time basis.
The postholder will be based at the Hospice Shop East and will support the Shop Manager (East) with the day-to-day management of the shop team. Building good team spirit by effectively communicating with Head of Retail, Shop Manager (East), employees, and volunteers. They will train employees and volunteers so they understand their roles and responsibilities and the importance of delivering excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have significant retail experience, supervisory or management experience with the ability to develop and performance manage a team, key holding experience and cash handling and reconciliation experience.

The Shop Manager (East) will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Jersey Hospice Care’s East charity shop, to maintain a high level of customer service and maximise revenue.
The postholder will work collaboratively with the Head of Retail and other members of the Retail Management Team and provide cover and support in other retail locations as required. They will build good team spirit by effectively communicating with the Head of Retail, colleagues, and volunteers.
They will lead, manage, develop, and train colleagues and volunteers, ensuring their understanding of their roles and responsibilities and the importance of delivering excellent customer service.

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for an Online Retail Assistant to join our Retail Department on a part-time Fixed-Term contract (6 months).
The postholder will be based at the Town Shop and will work alongside employees and volunteers, playing a key role in supporting Jersey Hospice Care’s online retail operations.
The postholder is responsible for ensuring that products are accurately listed and presented online, managing customer interactions, and overseeing the smooth processing and fulfilment of online orders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or online sales, photography skills and basic image editing knowledge and strong IT skills and familiarity with e-commerce platforms.

Staff Grade Doctor Salary Range £60,974 - £111,319
Jersey Hospice Care is looking for a Staff Grade Doctor to assist in the provision of specialist palliative care services provided by Jersey Hospice Care (JHC) working as part of the medical team alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team.
The medical care is led by the Lead Consultant in Palliative medicine and involves working closely with colleagues across secondary and primary care, including the in patient unit, the general hospital, the community and outpatients as well as contributing to an out-of-hours telephone on-call advice service.

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist who will provide specialist knowledge and skills to ensure the delivery of specialist palliative care across all areas of the hospital. They will be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of the multi-professional team prioritising work and flexibly responding to changing situations.
They will demonstrate a professional and pro-active approach, providing expert clinical practice and advice which will also include involvement in clinical audit, education, and research programmes within JHC.
The post-holder will be employed by Jersey Hospice Care and whilst based at Jersey General Hospital there will be a requirement when needed to support care delivery through cross cover with the community team.

Jersey Hospice Care is looking for Bank Chefs to join the Kitchen Team on zero-hours contracts.
The postholder will assist the Head Chef and Chefs with all aspects relating to the efficient and effective catering operation at Jersey Hospice Care. They will also develop and deliver a food offering by providing a range of wholesome food that meet the patient needs, with special attention for highly vulnerable patients’ dietary requirements.
The ideal candidates will hold an NVQ 2 in food production and cooking or relevant catering qualifications, a current food hygiene certification minimum level 2 and have significant experience as a Chef or Sous chef.
