Date of Event: 11 Jul 2027
Tour de Jersey is an Island wide cycling event with a range of courses from the 7km Mini Tour to the 100km Full Tour, so you can take your place, whatever your pace.
Pick your route:
100km Full Tour - for serious cyclists on an around the Island challenge
50km Half Tour - for cyclists who want to take on an endurance challenge
24km Railway Tour - for those who are just starting to cycle longer distances
11km Bay Tour - for families and confident young cyclists
7km Mini Tour - family route for the novice and young cyclists
All routes start at the Albert Pier - with the Full and Half Tour setting off at 07:00, followed by the Railway, Bay and Mini Tours at 09:00. Sign up fees vary depending on which route you choose and your age - and participants are encouraged to raise at least £50 in sponsorship.
Tour de Jersey now features a new surprise challenge – King and Queen of the Mountain.
King and Queen of the Mountain is an uphill challenge, where somewhere along the route there’ll be flags marking the start and finish of the mystery hill – all tracked on Strava (cyclists will have to activate it for the event).
We also have the Corporate Cup where teams of three take turns as a relay in the Full Tour (100km route) in the bid to win the cup (and a few goodies too!)
This promises to be a great day out for everyone from youngsters on scooters and balance bikes to the serious cyclist.
Registration closes at 16:00 Saturday 10 July. Corporate cup registration closes on Friday 9 July 12:00.
Choose from one of four routes, built with all abilities in mind. From families with little ones beginning to venture out on their bikes, to cyclists looking to build more confidence over longer distances or avid cyclists ready for the 100km leg stretcher, we have something for everyone.
Full tour - 100km
For serious cyclists who want to take on a challenge, this leg stretch of a route around the Island, takes in many hills and stunning scenery.
Half Tour - 50km
A challenge but achievable, the 50km route is designed for cyclists who want to be challenged but don't yet feel confident taking on the full 100km. Features some hills and leg stretch areas.
Railway Tour - 24km
A great route for the younger cyclists or those who are just starting to cycle longer distances. This route starts at Albert pier and follows the cycle track all the way to Corbiere and back.
Bay Tour - 11km
This new route is a bit more of a challenge from our shortest route which continues past the burger bar and takes you all the way to St Aubin's and back.
Mini Tour - 7km
Our 7km family route has something for the novice and young cyclists, or those on scooters and balance bikes. This route starts at Albert Pier and follows the cycle track to the burger bar and back.
What type of bike can I use?
Any roadworthy bike is suitable. We also include electric bikes, to enable more people to take part and stay active. You could even hire an Evie bike and take on one of the routes.
Scooters and balance bikes are strictly limited to use by our younger participants and only permitted on the 11km and 7km routes.
How do I raise money for Jersey Hospice Care?
Once you have registered for Tour de Jersey you will automatically have a sponsorship page set up to allow your family and friends to sponsor you for your efforts. We ask all participants to try and raise a minimum of £50. These vital donations support our care within the community and ensure that all care is free for every islander.
