About the In Patient Unit

At times you may need round the clock care and support that can be provided on our In Patient Unit.

We provide specialist 24 hour personalised care with the aim of maintaining independence and dignity in a warm and supportive environment.

Many people find a short admission to the In Patient Unit can make a real difference to how they are feeling and enables them to return home feeling more comfortable.

Every room on our In Patient Unit has stunning views over St Aubin’s Bay and provides a safe and welcoming environment for patients and the people close to them to spend quality time together. Our team of dedicated nurses are there to provide outstanding personalised care to meet the medical needs of patients and more.

“To help with my pain management, the doctor and nurses at Hospice made the suggestion that I stay at the In Patient Unit at Mont Cochon for a week, as a sort of reset. For me and for many people, when someone mentions going into Hospice, you just think of death. It was a really scary suggestion at first, but the nurses explained everything and I was able to have a look around the Unit before making any arrangements. As soon as I saw the Unit and the rooms, I thought yes, this is fine, I’m happy to come here. The team were really reassuring.

Visiting Hospice

Visitors are welcome at any time. We ask you and your visitors to respect the privacy of other patients. There are some communal areas available for visits with family and friends and a sanctuary for quiet reflection.
