Care at Hospice
At times, you may need round the clock care that can be provided on the In Patient Unit.

This December, Jersey Hospice Care is holding its very first Thank-a-thon – a chance to take a moment to say a huge thank you to our supporters. It’s thanks to the generosity of the people who donate, help fundraise, or volunteer their time, that make it possible for us to keep caring for islanders with life limiting illnesses, and people reaching the end of their lives.
Last year, we cared for 851 islanders and demand for our services continues to grow. The money that’s kindly donated to us or raised for us keeps all of our services running; from the Specialist Palliative Care Team looking after people in the community, to the 12 bed In Patient Unit at Clarkson House, and the bereavement counselling service – offered to anyone in the community who has lost a loved one.
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Jersey Hospice Care said:
“Over the next few days our team will be dedicating some of their time to thanking all of the incredible people who have supported us this year. We’ll be sending emails, writing cards, and making phone calls to try and reach as many people as possible and show our appreciation. Each and every one of our supporters means so much to us and we really couldn’t do what we do without them.
