Half of the tickets for our Million Pound Lottery have now sold! There’s a million pounds up for grabs – and nine other prizes too – we’ve been asking you what you’d spend it on…

From a poll posted to our social media accounts, the majority of people said they’d buy a house with their winnings (buy a house – 48%, travel – 24%, give up work – 16%, share with family – 12%). The money raised from our lottery not only changes the lives of the lucky winning islanders, but means we can continue to provide the much needed specialist care that Hospice gives to the community free of charge.

Scott Douglas, Events and Lotteries Manager for Jersey Hospice Care, said: “The Million Pound Lottery really is a win-win situation. For some, they can literally win a million pounds, or one of the other cash prizes. For those that don’t, they’ve still done a fantastic thing – supporting Hospice so that we can continue to look after islanders – whether that’s caring for patients on site or in the community, or helping family and friends with emotional and bereavement support. There really are no losers in our lottery!”

You can buy tickets online at mpl.jerseyhospicecare.com, or in person at our store in St Ouen or at De Gruchy’s department store, from 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday, and 10:00 – 13:00 on Saturdays.
