Dine and donate! Longueville Manor chooses Jersey Hospice Care as their Charity of the Year for 2026

Thursday 29 Jan 2026

The partnership between the five star luxury hotel and the Island’s only Hospice launches on the 1 February. It begins with fundraising by encouraging its diners to add £1 to their bill as a charitable donation, as well as adding a QR code to their menu linking directly to Hospice’s giving page if they’d like to add extra.

There are plans to expand on the support and fundraising by Longueville Manor throughout the year, and talks are underway working on exciting ideas. Watch this space!

Malcolm Lewis, owner of Longueville Manor, said: “We’re delighted to have chosen Jersey Hospice Care as our preferred charity for 2026. Jersey Hospice Care is a charity that touches nearly everybody on this Island at some point. Their work, not only within the Hospice itself but within the wider community, is invaluable and we hope that in some small way Longueville Manor can help support them.”

Jersey Hospice Care is the Island’s only hospice, providing specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions. Hospice is an independent charity, providing all its services – both on site and in the community – without a charge to patients. It costs £18,000 a day to run – funded mainly by the generosity of Islanders, and with support from businesses such as Longueville Manor.

Cheri Strudwick, Director of Income Generation at Jersey Hospice Care, said: “We’re thrilled with this new partnership with Longueville Manor – a prestigious and well-loved hotel in our Island, and I’m looking forward to the exciting ways we'll be working together over the next year, from dine and donate initiatives to wider fundraising and awareness-raising activities that will help support patients and families across our community.”
