The aim of this workshop is to improve communication skills and will cover the following topics:

• Defining communication
• Principles of effective communication
• Barriers to effective communication
• Core communication skills
• Focusing on changing practice

Is this course for you?

The course is suitable for all healthcare workers who wish to enhance their fundamental communication skills in palliative care or require a refresher prior to attending our course at intermediate level.

Sandwiches are available at Jersey Hospice Care at a subsidised rate and can be ordered on the day of the event at Reception.
