Why an awareness of the neurology of dementia aids a person-centred care approach.

What enables good end of life care for people living with Dementia?

Interactive session to explore how we can ensure delivery of high quality, compassionate and coordinated end of life care for people with dementia. This will cover how we meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of the person living with dementia whilst also paying attention to the needs of their families.

Aimed at all healthcare professionals working in any care setting interested in learning more about caring for a person with dementia at end of life. The opportunity to network with colleagues from across the health, social care and voluntary sector to share common challenges in improving end of life care for those living with dementia.
