
Care at Hospice
At times you may need round the clock care that can be provided on the In Patient Unit.

Please note this is two day course - 30th October 2023 and 31st October 2023 - 9.00am.-17.00pm on both days
The aim of this two-day interactive course is to enhance health care professional’s communication skills in having sensitive conversations relating to end of life issues. It is a prerequisite that delegates attending this course will have experience and knowledge of Intermediate Communication skills. Delegates should be familiar with working with a communication skills model such as the Calgary Cambridge model.
This course involves experiential learning and delegates will be expected to participate in role play within a safe and supportive environment. Delegates will have the opportunity to set their own learning objectives. Scenarios will be created for each learner to address their individual learning needs on the training days.

Sandwiches are available at Jersey Hospice Care at a subsidised rate and can be ordered on the day of the event at Reception.
