Dying Matters Week 2021 – 10th – 16th May

This year, the week will focus on the importance of being in a good place to die.
During Dying Matters Awareness Week, we’re opening up the conversation around death, dying and bereavement and asking you to think about what it means to be in a good place to die.

When we say let’s talk about ‘being in a good place’ to die, this means physically, emotionally and with the right plan in place and thinking about the place, people and your care preferences can help you to start to make these decisions.

Thinking ahead about what you really want will not only ensure that your wishes are respected as far as possible, but that these decisions are bespoke to you and cover all your needs and priorities.

Place, people and plan are three pillars to help you start the conversation, so you and your loved ones can be #InAGoodPlace to die.
