About the event

Online registration is now closed. You can still register on the day.

Organised by Cog and Sprocket and in association with Jersey Rouleurs cycling group, entrants of all abilities are catered for. You can choose to cycle the children’s 10 km, a family-friendly 25 km, stretching 50 km and the ultimate 100 km route, all in aid of Jersey Hospice Care. Please note that this is not a race; safety is a priority and we want everyone to enjoy the day.

Refreshments will be available on the 50 km and 100 km routes and at the finish line everybody will be given a medal for their achievements.

We’re delighted that this event is supported by Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, who are providing discount vouchers for all cyclists taking part to spend in their bar and restaurant.

Thank you to Pitcher & Le Quesne for sponsoring the event medals, which will be given to everyone who finishes and water for the water station. Finally, thank you to Channel Islands Co-operative for giving bananas for our cyclists.

Online registration has now closed. You can register on the day. Please download the registration form (found under Getting Involved or we will have spares with us in the morning).

It costs just £10 to register for the Tour de Jersey in advance or £15 if you register on the day. The entrance fee for young people aged between 12-16 is £5 and the event is free of charge for the under 12’s, so why not make it a family day out?

The first 50 people to register will receive a free event t-shirt – so why not register now to avoid missing out?

All GPS routes are now available. Please see the links under Getting Involved.

The children’s 10 km route is from Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel to the Gunsite and back.

Please make sure that your bike is in a good standard before starting the cycle challenge. If you would like your bike checked, the team at Cog and Sprocket in Bath Street are happy to help.

There will be staggered start times, depending on which route you have chosen.

  • The Ultimate 100 km route starts at 09:00 (registration will open at 08:30)
  • The Stretching 50 km route starts at 09:20 (registration will open at 08:50)
  • The Family 25 km route starts at 10:00 (registration will open at 09:30)
  • The Mini 10 km route starts at 10:10 (registration will open at 09:40)

Please remember that every cyclist must be wearing a helmet to take part – your safety is our priority!

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order before you start – there won’t be a workshop set up on the day to check your bike. If you are unsure beforehand, please go into any local bike shop.

Have a look at the weather forecast to make sure you are warm/cool enough and bring some water with you. There will be a water station at the half way point for both the 50 km and 100 km routes.

The finish line will be manned until 15:00. If you arrive after this time, or decide not to finish the course, please text the organisers on 07829 711100 to confirm that you are OK.

We are encouraging everyone to get sponsored, to help raise lots of money for Jersey Hospice Care. Just £60 would cover the cost of one week’s supply of oxygen on our In Patient Unit.
