About the event

Remember and celebrate the lives of people who have been important to you

Registration is now open!

This year we would like to make it more special than ever as we are celebrating 40 years since we welcomed our first patients, remembering each person we’ve ever had the privilege of looking after and walking in tribute to them.

The theme of this year’s event is 1982, the year Jersey Hospice Care began. It’s also when Madonna signed her first record contract, ET hit the big screen and Prince William was born! Then and ever since, our charity has kept going the extra mile to give outstanding, compassionate care and support to local families at the toughest time of their lives. It’s the continued kindness of people like you that makes this possible.

The start time is 9pm with registration open from 8.30 pm. At the finish line, come and join us for some well earned tea and cakes.

  • Choose between the 5k “Half Moon Walk” and the 10k “Full Moon Walk”
  • Refreshments & cakes at the finish line

We are very grateful to Axal Leine for sponsoring this event.

The walk will begin at 9pm from St Brelade parish hall.

The 10K walk will begin at St Brelade parish hall and follow the seafront to La Fregate. There will be a water stop at La Fregate before walking back to St Brelade parish hall for a well earned cup of tea and cake! This route should take no longer than 2.5 hours.

The 5K walk will begin at St Brelade parish hall and follow the seafront along to Layby 7, opposite Coronation park before walking back to St Brelade parish hall for a well earned cup of tea and cake! This route should take no longer than 1.5 hours.

There will be volunteer marshals along the route.
