Gail is passionate about achieving ‘the one chance to get it right’ at the end of life by ensuring the right care is delivered to the right patient, at the right time, in the right place.
For this reason she works to improve her knowledge through continuous professional development and through delivering education in an engaging innovative style.

Do you find it difficult to have conversations with those in your care about end of life? People have the right to make choices in their care regarding end of life medical decisions, however these conversations can be challenging for many. Advance Care Planning (ACP) is an important component of the Gold Standards Framework.
Therefore attending this evidence based workshop will support you to build confidence in having conversations. You will learn about key components and benefits of having ACP discussions with people in their last years of life. This interactive workshop will include introduction, overview, use and guidance on ACP in different settings, ACP for people with dementia, discussion of common challenges and solutions and communication skills.
