Jersey Hospice Care are seeking to recruit a Locum Medical Secretary, for a 3 month fixed term contract, working 25 hours per week.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration support service, including diary management to the Medical Team and be the first point of contact for internal and external queries for the Consultant in Palliative Medicine.

The post holder will manage the appointment booking service for outpatient clinics, ensuring the smooth running and coordination of all outpatient clinics, pertinent to the hospice Medical and Clinical Nurse Specialist Teams across all sites.

A clean driving licence and car is required, as the post holder will on occasions be required to work offsite, for example at the Jersey General Hospital and Doctors Surgeries, to provide administration support to the Consultant in Palliative Medicine in clinics and meetings.

The ideal candidate will have an RSA II or equivalent qualification and relevant experience as a medical secretary.  They will need to be detail conscious, have excellent written and oral communication skills, be highly organised with a high level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages, Office 365 and Teams.
