Jersey Hospice Care are seeking to appoint a Communications and Engagement Officer to join our Income Generation Team on a permanent basis. 

The postholder is required to develop powerful and compelling communications across various media that highlight both Hospice’s vital role in the design and delivery of palliative care in Jersey and to support our fundraising and retail teams in driving vital income growth. 

With the island’s population growing and ageing, the need for Hospice services will only increase and it is vital both that patients and families who could benefit from our services are fully aware of what we provide and that our need to grow income from fundraising and retail stores, as well as Government, is fully and appropriately shared and supported.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with strong marketing/communication skills. They will be a natural story-teller with the ability to write powerful and engaging copy for different audiences and channels, with the ability to build strong working relationships from the media.  Previous sector experience is less important.
