5000 Club Terms and Conditions

  5. Jersey Hospice Care reserves the right to undertake an age verification checks deemed necessary in order to comply with the Jersey Gambling Commission regulations
  6. Tickets cost £2 a month (£24 a year) and must be paid for prior to any draw
  7. Direct debit payments must be received on or before 15th of the month for a “pay monthly” ticket to be entered into the draw
  8. No refunds are offered
  9. Ticket holders are responsible for ensuring Jersey Hospice Care has up to date contact details
  10. The monthly draw takes place at Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3JB on the third Tuesday of the month between 14:00 to 17:00.
  11. An individual may hold more than one 5000 Club ticket
  12. Gift Vouchers must be redeemed within six months of purchase
  13. Prize winners will be notified by email (or post where an email address is not given).  Prizes must be collected by the ticket holder from Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3JB. Photographic ID will be required to collect winnings. 
  14. Results of each draw are published on our website at www.jerseyhospicecare.com, social media and in the Jersey Evening Post
  15. Jersey Hospice Care will use your personal data for the purposes of administering your participation in the monthly draw and communicating with you about your purchase

Terms and Conditions in full

  1. The 5000 Club is a lottery, promoted by Jersey Hospice Care, a charitable trust, and regulated by the Jersey Gambling Commission.
  2. There are ten prizes each month, one each of £1,000, £750, £500, and £250 and two each of £100, £50, and £25.
  3. The total number of 5000 Club tickets available at any time is 5000 and are numbered sequentially from 1 to 5000.
  4. Tickets and Gift Vouchers can only be purchased by adults aged 18 years or over. Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed by adults aged 18 years and over. Any ticket holder found to be under 18 years of age will be removed from the monthly draws and will automatically forfeit the right to claim a prize.
  5. When purchasing a ticket or Gift Voucher, or redeeming a Gift Voucher, you acknowledge that Jersey Hospice Care reserves the right to undertake any age verification checks it deems necessary including the use of a third party where appropriate.
  6. Tickets cost £2 a month and each unique ticket number will be entered into a monthly draw provided that payment in full has been received prior to the monthly draw. Only tickets for which full payment has been received at the date of the monthly draw will be entered into the monthly draw and eligible to win the prizes. 
  7. If a direct debit payment is not received for a pay monthly ticket on or before 15th of each month, the ticket holder will be notified by email (or post where an email address is not given) that payment has not been received and therefore their ticket will not be entered into that month’s draw, or subsequent draws, as it will be deemed. There will be no further communication. 
  8. All ticket and Gift Voucher sales are final and no refunds shall be made at any time.
  9. The ticket holder is responsible for providing Jersey Hospice Care with accurate and up to date contact details, including their name and address and the ticket holder shall inform Jersey Hospice Care of any chances to these details as soon as they arise.
  10.  The monthly draw takes place at Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3JB on the third Tuesday of the month between 14:00 to 17:00. 
  11. An individual may hold more than one 5000 Club ticket.
  12. Gift Vouchers must be redeemed within six months of purchase. Any Gift Vouchers not redeemed after six months of purchase will be deemed to be unwanted and treated as a donation to Jersey Hospice Care.
  13. Prize winners will be notified by email (or post where an email address is not given).  Prizes must be collected by the ticket holder from Jersey Hospice Care, Mont Cochon, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3JB. Photographic ID will be required to collect winnings.  Prizes are valid for six months from the date of the draw. Any prizes not collected after six months will be deemed to be unwanted and treated as a donation to Jersey Hospice Care.
  14. Results of each draw are published on our website at www.jerseyhospicecare.com, social media and in the Jersey Evening Post under the heading Draw Results. Alternatively they are available on request by email or via post if sent with a stamped addressed envelope.
  15. Jersey Hospice Care will use your personal data for the purposes of administering your participation in the monthly draw and communicating with you about your purchase. Jersey Hospice Care will also keep you updated on existing lottery products that you may be interested in, including the Million Pound Lottery, as well as new products and services by post. Jersey Hospice Care will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Jersey Hospice Care reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions without notice.
