Tour de Jersey is not a race but a fun cycle you can take at your own pace.
The course for the 3 mile route is a completely flat and even though it contains a couple of hills, the 20 mile route is also very flat. Subsequently, both these cycles can be achieved with little training.
The 50 mile route is designed to be a challenge and contains a number of hills. If you are not a regular cyclist, we recommend you go for a bike ride two or three times a week for several weeks in advance of the cycle, gradually increasing the length of your cycle. This will not only increase your fitness level in preparation for the day, but it will also help avoid injuries.
