Jersey Noodle Week
Jersey Hospice Care are very grateful to have benefitted from the island’s first Noodle Week, organised by Jersey’s only Japanese restaurant, Bento.
Throughout the week, islanders sampled a variety of noodle dishes, voted for which ones should make the new Bento Menu, and raised funds for Jersey Hospice Care at the same time as Bento donated 50p per bowl of noodles bought in the restaurant!
Friday 2nd July was officially The Sanuki Udon Festival in Japan and Bento’s celebrations begun on this day for a week. The inaugural celebration raised money for Jersey Hospice Care and paid homage to the Udon Noodle, a popular variety enjoyed across Japan.
