Condor Ferries' Dragon Boat Races
52 teams took part in the Condor Ferries’ Dragon Boat Races on Saturday. The sun shone and a great time was had by all!
Claiming the winning places were:
1st place – Dominion Dragons IV
2nd place – Collins Stewart Jersey Water Polo
3rd place – The Mary Rose
Condor Ferries earned their place in the final by raising the most amount of sponsorship in aid of Jersey Hospice Care (they raised more than £6,000!)
The team awarded the prize for the best fancy dress outfits were Sinking Sociable Superheroes in their Superhero costumes.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the races and helped raise super amounts for Jersey Hospice Care. Massive thank you’s must also go to Condor Ferries who kindly sponsor the event each year, Jersey Harbours for hosting the event and RBS International who allow a group of employees to donate their time to plan, organise and run the event.
All the money is still being counted but it is hoped that last year’s record has been smashed. Watch this space for a total amount raised...
