Open Garden

More than 200 people came along to the Open Garden at Le Clos du Chemin, Les Grupieux on 16 May 2010.

Jersey Hospice Care were kindly invited by Susan Lea to attend her beautiful gardens, and 200 people came along to enjoy the gardens despite the threat of rain in the air!

The Open Garden raised more than £850 for Jersey Hospice Care.

We were delighted to welcome Janvrin School Choir and No Strings Attached quartet to the Open Garden.

Janvrin School Choir
consists of 20 children aged between 9 - 11 years old. The choir recently made it to the final of the BBC’s competition Any Dream Will Do and last year went on tour in England with the Salvation Army. The choir was conducted by Phil Walker and sang beautifully.

No Strings Attached quartet,
formed in 2003, and they very kindly offered to play at the Open Garden. The quartet consisted of 2 violins, a viola and a cello, that were played by Alex Perchard, Rachel Sinfield, Terri O’Donoghue and Graham Boxall. For more information, please visit www.nostringsattachedquartet.co.uk.

We look forward to seeing you at the next Open Garden on 27 June 2010, at Lande a Geon, Le Vieux Beaumont. Click here for more information.
